An estate,
in farewell.
After thirty years, the gates are closing. Marieke’s diagnosis has called us home. Every Friesian still on the property will find a thoughtful home — and the family is inviting offers from every serious enquirer.

The horses still looking for homes.
Each horse listed here is on our property, in our work, and waiting for the right next chapter. Prices are no longer listed — the family will consider every reasonable offer.
— A note from the family
After thirty years,
we are closing.
In the spring of 2025 my mother, Marieke, was given a diagnosis that asks for our whole attention. Together as a family we have made the difficult decision to bring the estate to a close.
We will not run a program at less than the standard we have always kept. Each horse on the property will find a home before we close the gates — and we will price them at what the family is comfortable with, not at what the market will bear. Offers are invited from every serious enquirer.
We are grateful — for the horses, for the buyers across three decades, for the friends we have made along the way.
What we will still do for the right buyer.
The breeding program has ended and we are no longer taking new training horses. For the horses that remain, we will see every part of the transition through to your barn.
Transport, Coordinated
We will arrange road or air transport for every horse leaving the property — domestic or international — at the family's cost where possible.
Records & History
Full vet records, KFPS papers, breeding files, and inspection notes transferred to the buyer in their entirety. Nothing is held back.
Aftercare, Honoured
Our one-year support to new owners stands. We will pick up the phone as long as the line is open — and we will leave you in the hands of trainers we trust.
“We have bought five horses in twenty years of riding. This was the first one that arrived already feeling like ours. We are heartbroken to hear the family is closing — and grateful for the years they gave us.”
Notes from the estate.
On buying, on training, on the long apprenticeship of horsemanship.
— While the gates remain open
You are welcome to come.
The horses are still here, the coffee is still on the stove, and the family is still answering the phone. If one of these horses might be yours, please come see them before the inventory thins.
