Atlanta has a growing dressage community, Aiken (just over the border in South Carolina) is the wintering ground for many East Coast competitors, and we routinely route horses through both. The drive is direct up I-95, with a typical overnight stop in north Florida or southern Georgia.

- What does it cost to ship a Friesian from Florida to Georgia?
- Plan on $700–$1,200 with a professional carrier. Direct hauls through trusted shippers we use regularly typically come in around $900 for Atlanta delivery.
- How long does the trip take?
- Two days with one overnight stop, typically in Lake City, FL or Brunswick, GA. The horse is unloaded for the night and re-loaded in the morning — better for the horse than a single sixteen-hour drive.
- What paperwork do I need to import a horse to Georgia?
- A current negative Coggins test (within 12 months) and a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) issued within 30 days of travel. Both are arranged on our end before the horse leaves the property.
