- How much does Florida-to-Texas transport cost?
- $1,400–$2,200 with a commercial carrier. Houston is the lowest end of that range (most direct), Austin and Dallas are higher.
- How long is the haul?
- Four days with three overnight stops. Carriers prefer to break the trip in Tallahassee, FL; Mobile, AL; and Lake Charles, LA. The horse is unloaded and rested each evening.
- Do I need a brand inspection to bring a horse into Texas?
- Yes — Texas requires a Brand Inspection on entry in addition to the standard CVI and Coggins. We arrange all of this before the horse leaves the property.
