About Marrit
A horse in motion, not just on paper.
Marrit is the smallest horse on the property and, by some distance, the most loved. She has been Lieke's personal mare since 2014 — a Friesian × Gypsy Vanner cross with the cob's compact frame, the Friesian's flowing mane and the temperament of a horse that has never had a bad day. She drives in a marathon carriage, hacks alone or in company, and has packed Lieke's nephews through their first canters. With the closure, Lieke is placing her — slowly, and only to a home that promises to keep her for life.
